Having been a part of several hit shows like Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan and Pyar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti, Shabir Ahluwalia is returning with a new show. Titled Familypanti – Madness Ka Naya Address, the new TV show will have the actor doing something different this time as he will be in a comic role. Excited for the project, Shabir will soon begin filming for the same. Before the shoot commences, Shabir recently sat down for an interview, divulging details about the show and his role.

In a conversation with Bombay Times, Shabir Ahluwalia said, “I am looking forward to shooting for this show. My character is quite different, he is not a perfect guy. He is a little flawed and has got his quirks. It is not the so-called hero that you are used to seeing on television or in movies, so it is very interesting to play the role. It was a conscious decision for me to take up a role which is different from what I have done so far.”

He added, “I always look for something new in the story and that’s how I choose my characters. It should have multiple layers and offer a thrill to the story. I like characters that make a huge difference to the show. Something that is integral to the show and also without whom the show cannot move forward.”

Before this, Shabir Ahluwalia was seen in Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. The show went off air on September 4 after a journey of almost two and a half years. Known for its gripping storyline and memorable characters, the show featured Shabir and Neeharika Roy playing the leads. Their chemistry and touching performances throughout the show garnered applause and love from viewers, making them a fan-favourite.

Coming back to Shabir Ahluwalia, the actor has been in the television industry for more than 25 years. Over the years, he has delivered some memorable performances, earning him the title of the most-loved actor on the small screen. Now, with his new show set to premiere soon, fans are waiting with bated breath to see him in a different avatar.

False-colour scanning electron micrograph of skin from the palm of the hand of a 30 year old man. The skin here is neatly arranged in ridges. Sweat pores are seen as miniature craters along the ridges. The cells forming the external surface of the skin, or epidermis, have been flattened & hardened by deposition within them of the fibrous protein keratin. This tough, dead layer of cells is shed continuously & is replaced by new, maturing cells which take a month to migrate from the base of the epidermis. Magnification: x20 at 6x4.5cm size
