TV firebrand Piers Morgan has stunned fans by announcing a blockbuster collaboration with Tucker Carlson, one of the most controversial figures in American conservative media.

Talking to his 2.2million Instagram followers, the veteran British broadcaster shared: “BREAKING NEWS: I found myself in Saudi Arabia at the same time as @tuckercarlson, and we decided it would be fun to interview each other for our two shows, over 3 hours of often ferocious debate, interspersed with a lot of laughs too.

“Part One drops on @piersmorganuncensored tonight. It’s brilliant… #Riyadh.” Morgan’s announcement was met with a flood of enthusiasm from his followers.

One fan exclaimed in the comments: “Great, two fantastic men together in the desert, Piers and Tucker of Arabia!” Another added, “What a duo—I can’t wait for this.” A third chimed in: “I’ve always compared you two with each other—that’s crazy.”

The former Good Morning Britain host has been making significant waves in his media career in recent years. Earlier this year, Morgan walked away from Rupert Murdoch’s News UK to take full control of his YouTube-based show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The channel, which has amassed more than 3.6 million subscribers, features headline-grabbing interviews with world leaders and public figures, including Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Benjamin Netanyahu.

The decision to part ways with Murdoch wasn’t taken lightly, with Morgan turning down a reported £50 million deal to retain creative independence.

He previously told The i Paper: “It was a very good, mutually respectful conversation with Rupert and they were very generous with their offer. But I just wasn’t prepared to take a deal.

“It may be that Uncensored ends up a debate-led channel and I launch a podcast in the not-too-distant future for long-form interviews, which is competing with someone like Joe Rogan. There are a lot of lucrative pathways for that,” he added.

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson remains a heavyweight in conservative media, continuing to grow his influence with The Tucker Carlson Show – a daily podcast that brands itself as “a beacon of free speech and honest reporting in a media landscape dominated by misinformation.”

During their collaboration in Saudi Arabia, Carlson didn’t shy away from controversy, discussing Meghan Markle and her role in American politics.

In the explosive interview, he said: “Meghan Markle does not represent Black people in the United States,” he claimed, adding that she was “used as a proxy by people who do not like Donald Trump.”

Carlson elaborated further, saying: “It was a whole class of people whose cart was being overturned by Trump and they used, kind of, symbolic figures like Meghan Markle, as you found out, as their proxies to hold power, but those proxies never represented the groups they supposedly represented.”
