Arsenal have one foot firmly in the Champions League quarter-finals as they look to wrap up business against PSV Eindhoven tonight.

After two games without scoring, the Gunners put seven past the Dutch side last week in a blistering, record-breaking display in Europe.

Barring one almighty miracle in north London, Mikel Arteta’s side are through and can look forward to a heavyweight last eight showdown with Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid, who meet in the Spanish capital tonight.

Following Liverpool’s departure last night, Arsenal and Aston Villa are the remaining English sides in the competition with Unai Emery’s side also looking to reach the quarter-finals, leading Club Brugge at the halfway stage.

Given Arsenal have a 7-1 lead from the first leg, it’s safe to assume they will be playing in the Champions League quarter-finals this term.

The Gunners will face either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in the last eight.

The two Spanish sides meet at the Metropolitano Stadium tonight – with Real Madrid leading 2-1 from the first leg.
